Moving through a series of images since 1989, the one thread constantly connecting her work is an interest in the dreamlike space that reflects the way she perceives the world.Earlier images are often depicting the multiple interests of a 90's woman, moving into a time of introspection, her canvases portraying calmness and serenity.

The work of Manel Anoro, while reminiscent of French Fauvism, also originates in a genuine Catalan tradition - a tradition that stems from a passion for personal interpretation of beauty itself. The colors, exciting and stimulating, produce a sensual and an intellectual art. It is through this use of color that Anoro reveals another reality - one of his own imagination.

Sabzi's subjects are almost always women, beautiful, graceful, taciturn and lugubrious, they reflect solitude. His women are Madonnas, modern goddesses, and martyred saints whose elongated form suggest instability and internal conflict. Their anonymous faces transform them into religious icons that transcend and defy the demands of reality.
